Teachers’ Day Gifts – 5 DIY Ideas We Heart

Teacher appreciation gifts gesture towards acknowledging their dedicated efforts, love and positive outlook. These DIY teacher appreciation gifts are worth giving:

Bookends: Spray paint over at least two plastic animals and let it dry for a day. Wrap two bricks with the decorative duct tape. With the help of glue, fix the animals on the bricks.

Decorated Potted Plant: Paint a small size clay pot and let it dry completely. Then, either decorate it artistically or write your heartfelt message with a Sharpie pen. Take the help of an elder to plant a sapling before you give it to your teacher.

Cookie Jar: Making cookies is not much of a hard work. First, bake some delicious cookies under the guidance of an elder. Once they are out of the oven and cooled down, put the cookies in a mason jar and adorn it with some subtle decorations.

Mugs: Take a ceramic mug, a Sharpie pen and some acrylic paints. Use your fingers to make beautiful patterns with the acrylic paints on the mug. Write a message only if it seems necessary. Use a clear acrylic paint sealer to secure the painted design.

Mason jar Photo frame: Fill a jar with vegetable oil up to its neck. Carefully insert a photo of your choice in it. Add dried flower behind the picture and then, close the jar tightly.

Nothing expresses one’s gratitude towards someone as a DIY gift does.
